Yes. The moving industry is an essential business in every state, many people still need to move. Often, moving is not an option and cannot be postponed. Some moving companies are noticing a decrease in moving request, others are seeing an increase in service. In these times being considered essential is a privilege and an honor to continue to serve the public.
Please keep in mind Movers are at a low risk of transmission. Movers usually only service one – two customers a day and are easily able to maintain social distancing during service. No state has currently banned moving companies from operating, even in hot spots under the strictest mandates and guidelines like New York City.
